Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to purchases made through Grand Slam Golf Carts (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) via our website, phone, or in person.

Because golf carts are specialty vehicles, shipping and delivery differ from standard parcel shipping.

 

1. Local Delivery (Within 75 Miles of Westfield, Indiana)

 

We offer local delivery within a 75-mile radius of Westfield, Indiana.

  • Delivery fees are based on distance from our business location.

  • Delivery scheduling will be coordinated directly with the customer.

  • An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and accept delivery.

  • Exact delivery windows cannot be guaranteed but will be communicated in advance.

Delivery charges will be disclosed prior to finalizing the sale.

2. Delivery Beyond 75 Miles

 

For customers located outside our local delivery area:

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on distance, destination, and transport method.

  • We may use licensed and insured third-party vehicle transport carriers.

  • Delivery timelines vary depending on destination and carrier availability.

  • Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We will provide a shipping quote before final order approval.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

 

Estimated delivery timelines are:

  • In-stock carts (local delivery): 2–7 business days. Occasionally same day is available

  • Custom or special-order carts: Varies based on manufacturer availability

  • Out-of-state deliveries: Check with 1-7 business days

All delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier scheduling issues

  • Manufacturer backorders

  • Acts of God or other events beyond our control

4. Inspection at Delivery

 

Customers are responsible for inspecting the golf cart at the time of delivery.

If damage is observed:

  1. Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt.

  2. Take photos immediately.

  3. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Failure to report damage within 24 hours may limit our ability to file a claim with the transport carrier.

5. Title & Risk of Loss

 

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery and acceptance of the golf cart.

6. Customer Pickup

 

Customers may pick up their golf cart from our location by scheduled appointment.

  • Valid photo identification may be required.

  • The customer assumes responsibility for securing and transporting the golf cart once it leaves our premises.

7. Failed or Refused Delivery

 

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address provided

  • No responsible party available

  • Inaccessible or unsafe delivery conditions

  • Refusal of shipment without valid cause

Additional delivery or redelivery fees may apply.

8. Shipping Transparency

 

Some companies advertise “free nationwide shipping,” but large vehicle transport costs are typically built into the overall purchase price. We believe in transparent pricing and provide clear, separate delivery charges so customers understand exactly what they are paying for.
